The most classic of the classics: strawberry banana. This heavenly Strawberry Banana Smoothie is the answer to all your problems! Made with just 6 ingredients, this easy, dairy-free smoothie recipe is bound to be your all-time favorite.

Perfect for the spring and summer, this smoothie recipe utilizes fresh peaches, strawberries, bananas, and apples. Just in time to keep you cool like a nice breeze, this smoothie is made to combat the heat. Boasting a generous nutrient list, ranging from potassium, vitamin C, and vitamin A to antioxidants and fiber, this smoothie is both healthy as it is delicious.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

I love making smoothies for my family and trying out different tasty combinations. As a choice for my health, I drink smoothies between meals instead of snacking on not-so-healthy foods. Smoothies are delicious, require hardly any prep time, and you also get some fiber, nutrition, and refreshment at the same time. This strawberry banana smoothie recipe will earn you a drink that is creamy, refreshing, and delicious.

Green smoothies can help you sneak in some extra nutrients without even realizing it. I always throw some kind of green into every smoothie I whip up, typically kale or baby spinach. If you’re not too keen on adding greens to your drink, start by making your healthy smoothies without any greens. When you’re ready, just toss in one or two leaves of kale or spinach at a time. Gradually, you’ll get used to the taste, and you won’t even notice the greens are there! You’ll be surprised at how delicious and nutritious your smoothies become with the hidden greens. You can give it a try by adding a couple of leaves of kale or baby spinach to this recipe.

If you’re looking for a way to add more protein, fiber, carbohydrates, and vitamins into your meals, flax seeds or chia seeds are perfect additions to smoothies. You can add a teaspoon or more to your preference!

So, whether you’re starting your day with a burst of energy or treating yourself to a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, this Strawberry Banana Smoothie is the epitome of taste and nutrition. It’s the perfect embodiment of summertime, allowing you to savor the flavor in every sip. So take a break from your worries, indulge in the goodness of this smoothie, and let it take you to a world of refreshment and contentment. You’ll find yourself coming back to this delightful recipe time and time again, making it your favorite companion for the warm months ahead.

The Cooking Steps

  1. Cut ingredients into smaller chunks
  2. Put fruit chunks, ice, and almond milk in a high-speed blender
  3. Blend until well combined and smooth
  4. Serve immediately or chilled

Recipe Tips and Techniques

  • When making a smoothie, make sure that the ingredient most difficult to blend is at the bottom, in this case, bananas and greens if you do add them
  • If you prefer an even creamier smoothie, try adding a tablespoon of plain Greek yogurt for extra calcium, nutrition, and smoothness
  • If the smoothie’s sweetness isn’t to your liking, add another banana, honey, or agave!
  • If the consistency isn’t right, try adding more liquid or fruit depending on which side the texture airs on

Storage Tips

  • To Store: Refrigerate leftover strawberry banana smoothie in an airtight container or mason jar for up to 2 days for maximum freshness.
  • To Freeze: Freeze the strawberry banana smoothie in a well-sealed container for up to 3 months. Defrost before enjoying.

Did you peel your peach 1st?5 stars

Hi Terence! Thank you for trying Nami’s recipe!
Nami peeled the skin. But it’s up to your preference. 🤗

Hi Nami,
I really enjoy every email you sent us! They are so personal! It’s the email that makes me (all the more) want to read the recipes and try them! Thank you!
May I ask what blender do you use for making smoothie and milkshakes? What would you recommend? 🙂
Regards,
Christina

Thanks for your reply Nami! 🙂 Yes I did find out that you use NutriBullet through your post “How to Make Smoothie”. But the link given in the post brings me to Amazon — Magic Bullet NutriBullet 12-Piece High-Speed Blender/Mixer System. However the link you just gave me above in your reply brings me to Amazon — Nutribullet 14-Piece Nutrition Extractor 600 Watt Blender Juicer NBR-1401 Nutri Bullet.

I’m wondering if the 12 piece Magic Bullet NutriBullet is the same as the Nutribullet 14 piece nutrition extractor? Or are they two different models? Which is the one you recommend?

Thanks for being patient with me! 🙂

Christina

Thank Nami! This helps 🙂

And I really enjoy and love your website! Love the way you take the photos, do up the videos… love the presentation and your recipes and your heart in doing all of this! THANK YOU!

Love your twist to the recipe by using almond milk. I never thought to use that even though the doctor recommended me to drink almond milk instead of normal milk because of the higher calcium content.
